Great purifier when it works

This thing has a constant problem with wifi, it's always disconnected from my wifi and Smartthings hub. I have to go near the thing and unplug it and plug it back in just to turn it on "remotely" with my Smarthings app. WAY over priced with this kind of shady wifi connection!!! This thing is worth $200 at best and only if you don't mind the hassles of unplugging and plugging it in. I've done this at least 6 times since my purchase in January - it's April now only 4 months in!! It's in severe need of a firmware update for this problem and there's no "manual" way to do this... thanks for wasting my money Samsung! Just to add, Samsung has decided to discontinue manufacturing of the Smarthings Hub... and that's the only way to remotely turn this thing on without getting up and hitting a button which you can barely read. The color contrast between the button labels is illegible and you have to get close with glasses on just to see what to press, and this is amplified because I cannot use my Smarthings App due to the constant wifi disconnects! They're barely lit up and barely exposed when OFF (if at all)... bad design with the buttons.

Damaged when arrived

i ordered the air purifier on samsung.com directly. when it arrived, the outside box is extremely damaged, and also the device. the box is too thin to protect the device during shipping and they didn't put in any foam protectors in the box to protect the device. there is no way it could survive the shipping process with this kind of packaging. also all the accessories are missing. we wait for the product for a long time, but it is so disappointed.

Pricey but good

I bought this a couple months ago and the air quality has drastically improved. I initially purchased because we own cats and the dust from the litterbox really bothered me, but it's so quiet and small that I honestly just leave it on 24/7 After a couple of months, some problems I have are that the Air Quality reader doesn't seem to be exact (either that or something about my air quality spikes it to 987, which I believe would mean I should be dead.) and that the fan isn't quite as strong as I'd like it to be. The top portion of it has a pop away tab where you can install a second purifier on top, making a cool tower, and I'm satisfied enough with this little guy that I think I feel more than confident in purchasing another to stick right on top!

This is an amazing value. The digital read outs for the different size particles and color make it easy to see the current air quality in the room. I also love that it has multiple filters including a charcoal one so you know it definitely traps particles of different sizes and kind. I also love that it measures the carbon dioxide and filters that out as well. I am going to but another one for the master bedroom.

I bought one during California wildfire season, which helped to maintain the air quality inside my house, especially while the AC was running. Connecting to my SmartThings app was super easy, too. I just bought a second one to put in the master bedroom. Night mode is super quiet and gives me a sense of assurance that I'm breathing clean air. I got the white ones and they blend in nicely with my home. The only downside is that the noise level rises at the max speed, but honestly, I can't tell whether this is louder or not compared to other products.

Whisper Quiet and Very Sensitive

I've had this for a few months now and love it. It gives me extra piece of mind that the air I'm breathing in my home is clean. I can best describe the sound it makes when operating as similar to the sound of air that comes out of floor registers when central a/c is running. It's not noticeable unless the house is completely quiet. It notices anything out of the ordinary like a particularly smelly meal being cooked or even when the grill is on outside and someone opens the door. It quickly neutralizes the air and sends things back to normal.

Incredible device! It's on the expensive side for an air purifier, but considering its feature set, as well as SmartThings integration, it's worth every penny. I was originally a bit skeptical of it's monitoring capabilities but the sensors are the real deal and accurately monitor and display air quality metrics.
