It™€™s tinny and cheap looking the storage drawer is half a drawer, the black glass scratches and is hard to clean, I usually buy the gold collection, but it™€™s no longer available, if I could afford to replace this I would, it™€™s terrible

One bad feature

I really like the stove, but it has one major draw back. The drawer is horrible. It's smaller and not at all sturdy. I'm sure this was a cost cutting measure for Whirlpool, but with the cost of this stove is should have been avoided. This is not something that is a "getting used to" option. I am not the only one who feels this way. It's a shame. I do not have an abundance of cabinet space in my kitchen and the drawer was great for pots and pans, not now I'm afraid.

The jury is still out. I had my other stove for 25+ years and knew it well. I am not sure that I like the streamlined controls. It is not as intuitive as my former range. And the black ceramic cooktop shows every bit of dirt. (My previous cooktop was light colored.) And I DEFINITELY don't care for the "warm up" bell. It is so quiet! We are senior citizens and cannot hear it.I had to order a loud timer from Amazon. I bought it for the self-cleaning function and have not used it yet.

I am a little disappointed in the appearance of the range, as it looks a little "cheap" for the price. The glass top is extremely hard to keep clean and after only a few days use already had marks that cannot be removed. It does its job and is much better than what we had, however, I would not buy this range again.

I owned my previous stove of a different brand for 26 years. It was still performing perfectly and the stovetop looked like the day it was purchased, when I bought the Whirlpool. I needed to replace my refrigerator and dishwasher, so it seemed prudent to go ahead and replace the old stove. The Whirlpool I purchased is not the top of the line, but I expected much more than the flimsy oven racks that came with this stove. One must wrestle with the racks to move them. If you were trying to make a soufflÃ, it would surely drop with all the jostling. The stove top is a nightmare to keep clean; completely unlike my previous one. I™€™m sorry I chose this product.

My new range was delivered on September 9, 2024. I don™€™t cook at home very often and since my range was delivered, I™€™ve used the stove top three times, using two different burners. I™€™ve used the oven once. I love the look of my range and it cooks/bakes well, however, both burners have scratches on them already. I am not rough on my appliances at all and took special care when I put the pots on the burners and took them off. If this continues to happen, I am going to end up not using this range at all. These scratches bother me so much! You would think a $1,000 range would be made more durable.

I bought this stove about a month ago and am really disappointed with it. The drawer was flimsy and could be bent in half with no effort. The drawer was too small to hardly anything in it, maybe a couple of pans. The top of the stove was stained the first time we used it. No cord came with the stove and for what we paid for the stove it should have had a cord as it cost $1000.00. Who ever designed the stove should be ashamed. I would not recommend this stove to anyone. Sorry, but it is not a quality stoves like the other stoves we have purchased.

Whirlpool gold was better made than new one

I had to replace my whirlpool gold electric range it was about 14 years old and the motherboard went and replacement pieces were no longer available This stove while costing more is not as well made as the older model, the storage drawer is half the size comes with no liner or broiler pans and is so thin . It serves little purpose as it hold next to nothing, I know have to purchase another cabinet for storage. I still have the whirlpool gold refrigerator and microwave that I was considering replacing but after seeing the quality of the heritage model I am reconsidering, I wanted a different model but with supply chain issues, it was not available fir over 30 Days bringing it to close to the Christmas holidays to chance not having a stove. The glass top of the gold model was a speckled glass nicer looking and easier to keep clean. The older one came with a new scraper and a small bottle of cleaner, none came with the new one, had to purchase the cleaner and scraper separately.The warning lights on the older one were better letting you know which area on the stove top is hot not just a general warning like the new one. The oven so far seems fine I have only had this 2 weeks I cook on it every day, this is my 3rd whirlpool electric stove in 40 years of owning my home , all my appliances are whirlpool I have always stood by the brand , but this time I believe I overpaid for an inferior product. Only time will tell

I have one suggestion- I wish they would have included a more compressive instruction book. I had to go to the internet to find information. A delivered instruction book would have helped.

TINNY! Made with the thinnest metal possible. The bottom drawer is half the size of old Whirlpool and sooo thin, holds maybe 3 cookie sheets! No light to indicate which burner is on. Burners take FOREVER to heat up - half an hour to boil a pot of soup. Broiler keeps turning on and off, so NO sear on steak! Can't find a single thing I like about this range!

My first range was a Whirlpool Smooth-Top. This is a pale shadow of what I had. It doesn't allow more than one burner at a time to be used, the oven takes longer to roast than it should. Except for the styling and that it is made in the USA, I cannot recommend it. It is a disappointment.

Overall i am happy with the range. My only complaint is the cooktop had "white/gray spots" in the burner elements within 2 days of owning/using it. Whirlpool sent me a cleaning kit which helped a little.......when i clean it thought it looks like it has "streaks". It's just the cooktop that is a concern.

We got it very quickly at a local shop after our old range died. This does everything I need for a nice price. My only complaint is that the indicator that a burner is hot is on the control panel and not on the cooktop itself down by the burners. Out last range had it there and it was easy to see the burners were still hot. I just have to train myself to look in a different spot.

Tricky oven and timer settings and fussy glass top

My electric range top with the coils was so much easier to clean. Glass top looks nice but seems to be fragile and needs special cleaner. Timer sound is too soft. Would not hear it in another room But this seems to be the future so I will adapt.

We have had this appliance for a couple of weeks. So easy to use, the functions are great, as well as need of the user are met.
