I'm on my second washer after having to return the first one. This second one seems to continue to "run" even when not in use. I've addressed the technical issues as noted, and it continues to do this. Just very frustrating coming off of an LG that worked for 14 years.

I love how sleek this washer looks because it has been elevating my laundry experience. This washer has 12 presets cycles which keeps my washing decision making quick and easy. This said, I typically stick with the ™€œnormal™€ or ™€œquick wash™€ because they are effective and do an amazing job at taking my clothes through all the cycles in a timely manner. I also love the soft jingle that is used when selecting any cycle or button it is a lovely way for me to know what buttons I am pushing. I LOVE my washer.

Don't let the price tag fool you, this washing machine will last less than 2 years! Our control board failed at the 22 month mark. Thankfully RC willey has us covered within our warranty, but annoyingly we're without a washing machine for 2 weeks while the part gets delivered and the repair occurs.

It is an excellent washing machine, the installation was quick and easy, it brings all the accessories and tools necessary to do it, the capacity of the washing machine is good, it washes enough clothes at the same time and does it perfectly, it is a steam washing system which is good because it saves water and also sanitizes the fabrics. I really like that it doesn™€™t make any noise. Its (normal) cycle is only 55 minutes to leave the clothes completely washed and squeezed. Despite having the drying option, I do not recommend it because it takes 8 hours to do it and only if it is very little clothes, if it is a considerable amount the clothes after 8h are not completely dry so you should take it into account. He fulfills his other functions perfectly! In fact, she alone calculates the amount of soap and other detergents that the clothes she put to wash need and I love that, I am really fascinated with this washing machine, I already needed a new one and this has been a treasure in my life and my house!

This is the WORST washer; I have had it for 3 years; The sales associate said with the vent system, it would prevent mold. I keep my washer so clean and the blue rubber was full of mold. I called GE, I had to purchase a new blue rubber, pay for someone to replace it and now the washer doesn't work and it leaks. What a scam! I called GE to tell them what has happened and ask for assistance and they gave me $50 off a repair which covers nothing or I can purchase a new one at NO DISCOUNT! I will no longer be a GE customer!

I really don™€™t know where to begin when talking about this washer. It is gigantic. It is absolutely perfect! There are so many different features on the control panel. It syncs to an app through Bluetooth. It messages me on the app five minutes before the load is finished, as soon as the lot is finished, and in the event that I forget to take the laundry out it reminds me to do so after half an hour. That in another itself is a total game changer. I also love the venting that occurs after the wash is done. It cleans very nicely. There is no detergent residue left over, it has different stain setting options. There™€™s even an option to dry, but I haven™€™t used that yet.

Our washer went out on Friday of the July 4th weekend while we had family in town. This was the fourth time in six months FOR A BRAND NEW WASHER that we have had to schedule someone to fix it. The company they hire to fix the issue has rescheduled again so now one of us can™€™t show up for our shift because we have to be at home for this. The GE Profile Smart Washer with UltraFresh Vent System is a breathtaking piece of laundry engineering. The black, silver, and glass aesthetic invokes a sense of luxury and modern beauty I've never seen in a laundry room. The setup is literally plug and play. Hook up the water hoses, plug in the power cord, the machine is ready to go. Jump right into any of the washing cycles, and there are plenty. The fastest cycle using tap cold water is as low as 22 minutes. Very impressive! The capacity is more than enough for our family of five. We've washed a set of queen bedding comfortably. The max spin speed gets close so dry. You would think it's been through a short cycle in the dryer. The detergent/fabric/bleach tray is so long and filled with options I didn't know existed. The build quality is precise and impeccable. Firm, durability glass door that closes with a satisfying bolt action like lock. Smooth, glossy sheet metal that drips with class. Bright stainless steel drum that lasts a lifetime. This is a laundry room upgrade worthy of presidents, prime ministers, kings, and queens.

Wow this thing is luxe! It just looks and feels pretty, which I never thought I™€™d say about a washing machine! I love the steam option especially for kids and pets. The loading size is very generous, the display works seamlessly, and the cycles are fairly quiet. This thing is also pretty compact for how big the drum is. All my other appliances are GE as well, and I™€™d definitely recommend!

I was lucky enough to receive this washer for free in exchange for my honest review, and oh my gosh, I am seriously ecstatic! This machine is simply awesome. If you've ever had a front loader before, you know how nasty and musty they get if you don't leave the door wide open all the time. This one has an UltraFresh vent feature that actually circulates air to dry the inside out after a load, which completely fixes that problem. The blue rubber seal around the door also has Microban built into it, so you don't have to constantly wipe down gross slime or mold. It just stays clean. Another thing that is absolutely amazing is the auto dispense feature. You can pour a ton of detergent in there and it holds enough for up to 50 loads, so you don't have to mess with a heavy jug every single time you want to wash clothes. My absolute favorite part though is the 1-step wash and dry. For those nights when you realize you forgot to wash a school shirt or a sports uniform for the next morning, you can just throw it in and it washes AND dries it all in one shot. You don't have to stay up late just to switch it over to the dryer. It holds a ton of clothes and just works great. I honestly couldn't love it more!

Disappointing product, worse support

We bought a premium GE front load washer and regret the decision. The washer is currently broken. It runs loudly through the night because it appears to think it needs to drain excess water. After the most recent repair attempt, the door is now permanently locked, leaving us with laundry piling up. The bigger issue is the post-purchase experience. GE has shown little urgency or ownership in resolving the problem, which is frustrating for an appliance positioned as a higher-end product. At this point, the washer has been unreliable, the service experience has been poor, and the overall purchase has given us every reason to wish we had chosen a different brand.

We love our new washer. The large capacity helps when we have dog beds and mats to wash. Much quieter than our old machine. We didn't think we would want a machine with all of the added buzzers and bells and features we thought we would never use, but we like this machine, and it has everything. I have had these for a bit now. All of a sudden it doesn™€™t finish a load. It kicks off like it™€™s done, but everything is soaked. It doesnt spin out and drain. The tub is still sitting with water in it. I have to empty and wring out the laundry. Then I have to drain it and unplug the machine for it to reset. This is an every week issue now.

It's supposed to have a balancing feature...it does not. The machine shakes and moves from side to side. Supposed to have an automatic soap dispenser...can't tell. I don't see suds on any setting. Supposed to run quietly, not at all. Overall, I made a terrible investment. On the other hand, it does look nice.

The new washing machine does a great job of washing our clothes. The tub has the capacity to hold quite a few clothes. The machine washes the clothes in a minimum amount of time. The features and technology are as good as expected.

Washer bounces back on forth terribly

This washer rocks back & forth incredibly. I got it from Costo, and they replaced it™€¦ but that didn™€™t change the rocking back-and-forth. And I™€™m not talking just a little sway. I™€™m talking to the point that I had to put foam between the wall and the washer and between the washer and the dryer just so that they wouldn™€™t bang into each other. It™€™s a really bad situation and I™€™m extremely disappointed.

I bought this at Lowes in March 2025. It is January 2026 and the computer has already gone out. It is still under warranty but the part won't be here for a week and the service tech can't fix it until a week after that. I will be out two weeks without a washer and this wasn't a cheap product. There is no way it should already have gone out. Im sure no one will be reimbursed for laundromat fees either I now have to use.

Do not waste your money on this product. We™€™ve had it less than three years and it™€™s broken down two times causing flooding in our basement. The first time we broke down we were at the end of our warranty and it took them six weeks to fix it. It has now broken down less than a year later and we are unable to get a hold of anyone and we™€™re stuck at the laundromat once again. Not worth the money I™€™ve never experienced machine that has caused so much damage and is so useless. We have spent almost the same amount of money in gas and laundromat machines as we did in purchasing this washing machine.. THEY NEVER REACHED OUT AND ALL THE THINGS THEY SUGGESTED WE DID BACK IN JANUARY LAST YEAR (after we contacted customer service) WE HAVE ALREDAY GOT RID IF THE MACHINE- waste of money

This has been the worst appliance experience I™€™ve ever had. Our GE washer failed in less than two years, with absolutely no warning. After spending money on the replacement part that was needed, the washer still doesn™€™t work. Now we™€™re stuck waiting for a technician, without a functioning washer™€¦ right after the holidays. This has been stressful, expensive, and extremely disappointing. For the price, this set should last far longer than two years. I strongly recommend avoiding this washer and dryer set. You™€™re much better off buying a basic Whirlpool or a Speed Queen.

Brand New GE Profile bearings went out after 2 years and GE said it's not under warranty. The cost to repair was $1300. GE offered to sell parts at a discount. The Store where it was purchased sold us another updated GE Washer for a good price. We didn't want to replace the pedestals and the dryer. The new updated model was installed the following day and it had a bad Drum. The 2nd unit was installed two days later and seems to be working.

Cleans Well WHEN IT WORKS but a repair headache!

Listen to the negative reviews. They are real and I truly wish I "did my homework" before buying this washer. I got my washer and dryer set from a local big box electronics and appliance retailer. In just under two years, repair men have been to my home FOUR, I am not joking FOUR TIMES to repair this washer. It's gone through more than one "control board" and now it needs an "inverter board" for the drive motor and an 'accelerometer' as well. When this washer works, it's amazing, it cleans well and very efficient. The ability to start your wash load from the app is nice with alerts telling you that your clothes are finished. That's the end of the fun stuff. This has got to be the most unreliable washer I have ever owned. Given this was virtually top of the line as a washer is an insult and I have owned "cheaper" machines that lasted way longer than this. Of course I am outside the one year GE warranty so each repair was very expensive. I know GE won't do anything to stand behind the product as I am outside the 1 year mark but I am warning you that you if even thought about this machine because of the perception that GE appliances are the best - you're sorely mistaken. Even my parents used this brand growing up. Never again.

DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER !!!!! I had it since August and three service calls. It™€™s JUNK. Shakes uncontrollably during ANY spin cycle. Doesn™€™t matter if you wash regular clothes or begging, the washer SHAKES during spin. And for the bonus, it can get stuck on spin so forget about loading your clothes and walking away. YOU ARE THE ONE that needs to stop it. Also, almost every load the washer cannot simply just enter the spin cycle, it takes forever to sense the load. And yes, I know how to do laundry so no need to tell me it™€™s ™€œunbalanced™€. DO NOT BUY !!!!!!! Google this machine and see videos and it shaking. HORRIBLE PRODUCT that I am not stuck with.

Many problems occur only after 2 years of use. Showing door problem, but after replacing the door lock, it works only for one week. The pomp filter is clean. Drain hose is installed correctly. Works great where it is empty. Now is useless. Repairing the washer is to expensive, is like buying new. Newer GE again.

The only thing worse than the GE products is the customer service and Bosewell service. 0 stars should be an option. Have had this washer less than 6 months and it leaks all over my floor. It's a long story but I have been trying to get this machine fixed for over a month and have been given the run around by GE and the Bosewell company they use for service. DON'T BUY GE ANYTHING!!! GE should be ashamed to treat customers this way....HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and still dealing with it.

My washer broke down on October 11. I called GE, was transferred to their warranty partner (Appliance), and scheduled a service appointment. When the technician finally came, he looked at the washer, told me I needed a replacement part, and said he™€™d be back in two weeks. The part arrived. He never showed up™€"twice. I called again and made another appointment in November. The same technician came out, then suddenly claimed I didn™€™t have insurance and refused to fix anything. I told him multiple times that I did, but he got irritated and left my house. I called the company again, explained everything, and made yet another appointment for late November. They said I™€™d get a text the day before. I never got a text, and they never showed. When I called, they acted like the appointment never existed. So I made another one for December 8. The technician came, went to look at the washer and the part we™€™d been waiting on for months, then said he needed to make a phone call. He sat outside for 30 minutes, came back in, and told me he ™€œdidn™€™t feel safe™€ and was leaving. At this point, I™€™m disgusted with how this company has handled everything. I have four kids™€"two teens and two babies. Laundry piles up fast, and here we are on December 9 with no working washer, no accountability, and no resolution. I™€™ve called, I™€™ve complained, and absolutely nothing has been done. I™€™m beyond frustrated and completely over this entire process.

This is the 3rd washing machine (GE replaced the original purchased in March 2025) that I've had in the lat 6 months. They ALL have leaked from load one all over my basement floor. Each time, a new case is opened with them to fix them. Bodewell sends a repairman and tells me to change the detergent, all of these machines leak, nothing they can do to fix it. GE's engineering told us, the leaking is a KNOWN issue they don't have a fix for. The fix is STOP MANUFACTURING THE MACHINE until a fix is found. I WANT my money back. Since GE is unwilling to do anything to refund me, I am now in the position to file a complaint with the FTC and NYS consumer affairs department. DO NOT EVER BUY A GE washing machine!

Loved it for a few weeks. Our washer is not working correctly (doesn't clean and has left some large spots randomly. "I HAVE NOT" not reached out for help. So, stuff happens, we'll see how it goes. Trusting it will work out well.
