Like the space and having multiple drawers in fridge. Temp seems to work good. Shelves hold quite a bit but look a little flimsy. When you put items on shelves you can see the slightly sag, but still seems sturdy. . The only downfall is no light in the freezer.

1 star for appearance and capacity. 1 star for keeping food cold for a year. No more stars, since the temperature fluctuates above 50 degrees and needs to be serviced shortly after the warranty expires.

We wanted a basic Top Freezer model to replace a Bottom freezer model in our laundry room as a second refrigerator.
The Bottom freezer refrigerator being replaced was an appliance that stayed with our house when we bought it, it had to be 10 plus years old before failing. Our replacement model's interior and shelving are nicely arranged.

Beautiful stainless steel. Bigger inside than I expected which is great. We have a short space for a fridge and wanted a freezer at the bottom of the unit, but did not have the extra inch or two required. Yet, we are really happy with the unit. Positives--looks great, lots of space inside, the hanging drawer in the middle is moveable to allow for large items such as turkeys to be stored in the fridge. the door storage is really large, yet does not crowd the shelving. This is true for both the fridge and the freezer. Negatives--we had an ice maker installed in the freezer as it did not come with one. the ice maker is tiny, but functional. it does not turn off automatically. the light inside the fridge is dimmer than our previous fridge. the freezer and fridge temp was a bit warm, so had to be turned up higher than I expected, even in the winter. Overall, I like this fridge more than our previous Maytag.

Like the refrigerator a lot, however the ice maker is no where as good as the old standard GE version that was made for many years. It is slow and the cubes don't fully develop.

This refrigerator doesn't have lots of fancy features (fewer things to go wrong/break down, in my opinion), but I love the design. It's very roomy and the top freezer is huge, compared to similar refrigerators I've had in the past. The fridge looks nice and has plenty of room for my water pitcher and a gallon of milk in the door shelf. Before buying this, i was considering buying a separate small chest freezer. No need for that now!

LED light suddenly turned off. 1.5 years and that's it. Called GE for some clarity. Was told "it requires a technician to fix this". I guess we a all too incapable to switch out some parts. What a joke.

My experience is the top and bottem doors do not align, there arent wheels so you scratch your floor everytime you move the fridge, when removing anything frozen and something else false out the lower fridge door gets a new dent as the food bounces off the cheap stainless. only the doors are stainless not the entire fridge, i thought i bought an entire stinless fridge so that is missleading, the fridge is louder than I would have expected. the freezer always unseals when you open the fridge door leaving me with a wet freezer too many times as items melted.and i paid a lot for this piece of junk. for me GE once again proved its a lower quality hardgood. oh and lastly one temp controller for both the fridge and freezer which if you think about it the frideg is either too cold or the freezer is too warm depending on the setting.

The bottom door shelf is shallower than the shelf above it which makes it harder to access items from the very bottom. Reaching underneath and items are harder to see than the wider shelf above it. I tried to switch the shelves but they are not interchangeable.

It is very spacious. Able to fit a lot of food in the refrig. Very organized. The temp is much colder in the freezer section than my previous refrig. The temp in the refrig is cooler also.

Bought this model at the height of the pandemic as our old Kenmore finally bit the dust. Needed the specific size to fit a space. Disappointed in the
lack of flexibility in shelf placement, door shelf not wide enough to hold two gallon containers of milk, and the ice maker is a joke. Even after a year of use the ice still has a plastic taste. The poor design of the automatic stopper results in it getting frozen in place - surprise, it never turns off the ice maker thus flowing over into the freezer compartment.

We had the last model GE fridge for about fifteen years, loved it. It looked pretty much like this one, stainless, black & big. It had a light in the freezer, nice, this one doesn't. It had a can holder that held a twelve pack out of the way of everything else, nice, this one doesn't. This one has a giant bin on the door that is right above a smaller bin making it hard to see what is in the the bottom bin and even harder to get things out of the bottom bin. This one is very noisy , sounds like a cheap microwave oven, but it is what it is, and it's not what the older model was. TOO BAD.

We're probably not your typical customer in that we did NOT want a "French Door" style fridge or one with a water/ice dispenser. Just a good, basic freezer-on-the-top fridge with lots of room. This was exactly what we were looking for, and we are so pleased! It has so much room and it works beautifully!

I searched for quite some time for a refrigerator to fit into a smallish (by today's standards) space in a 32 year old home. The bottom freezer style was out of the question. This fits perfectly and has more storage space inside than the refrigerator I replaced. It looks great too!

I love the fact that there is so much more room than in my previous side-by-side model. Temperature controls are a little wonky. The factory recommended setting does not meet its standard of 37° in the fridge and 0° in the freezer. I have it turned to max (5) and the items towards the front are now at 39° in the fridge but items towards the back tend to freeze, especially fruit.

We've only had this product for 3 weeks but so far very satisfied. There is plenty of room for our food. I like the vegetable draw as it has air holes for circulation. Door shelves are wide enough to hold half gallon of milk and assorted condiments.

This top freezer refrigerator has so much room on the door, that there's plenty of space on the shelves for everything else. It's very quiet and keeps the food cold at the right temperature. I am quite happy with this product.

This was a replacement for a GE Profile and their is no comparison to the one it replaced as the profile was a better model; with better features and was more sturdy. This replacement is a good price point for what you are receiving. It has worked well. Due to Covid you could not be picky with products as other models were out of stock and/or on long back orders. The only problem is the freezer does not have a light. The features are ok; as I said it is hard to compare to what it replace which had all the bells and whistles.
