Condensation Galore

This GE microwave is the worst I've ever owned. Clearly there is subpar if any quality control, The interior of the oven becomes soaked with condensation. Assuming the the seal was installed poorly. I use microwave dish and bowl covers yet the condensation is still extremely present. I'm constantly afraid of electrical arcing. I owned a Kenmore that lasted near 30 years. This GE is close to being trash, I've owned it for maybe a year.

cord is too short, it doesn't come with a manual

I haven't used my microwave oven because the 40 inch cord is 2 inches too short to plug it into a grounded outlet and the instructions say not to use an extension cord. The oven came with 4 pages of what not to do to be safe, but no instruction manual so that I could use it at all until I print it out or call to order a paper copy. Not one word on how to actually use the oven. I learned that an overcooked potatoe can catch fire. You would think they could manage at least one paragraph about how to turn it on.

Have only had it three days so not in a position to rate it yet. But we are disappointed in the words and numbers. They are grey on a black background and are a struggle to read. It's like we need to leave a flashlight or a magnifying glass by the microwave to be able to read the numbers and settings every time we need to use it. That part is a very poor design. Our previous micro wave had bigger numbers and print and they were white on a black background. Much better.

This is smaller than our last microwave but has a large capacity with a 950 wattage the heats up food very well. I highly recommend this microwave for people looking for a countertop range. Also the price could not be beat and the level of customer service from the deal we bout from in Massachusetts was exceptional.
