Extremely quiet and cools well. The one I had was also a GE and lasted over 20 years and this was the replacement. Thanks to GE for making a new one with the exact measurements!

The face plate for the controls are very slim and crack and break easily, for hotel/lodging you™™ll most definitely get points taken off during qar if you™™re not using a separate thermostat. Issues with several compressors as well as noise with the fan in select units, definitely a downgrade from the previous model

This has been the worse GE experience I™™ve had in the last 20 years. The last technician told me it was unrepairable and mentioned nothing about an extended warranty even though the customer service email stated. I have scheduled 4 service appts with replacement parts, visits with no service and to just write a new ticket and last visir to write a case number to document it is unrepairable. My case has been poorly handled from the very beginning.
When it was under warranty, GE came out 4 times to fix it and the problem returned because prior technicians were solutioning the wrong problem or not fixing the root of the problem - a unrepairable unit. Now GE is saying it™™s my fault and now that it™™s out of warranty so I have to pay to replace it since there™™s no part to fix my unit. Now again it™™s almost winter. I am unsure how a bad product becomes the consumer™™s fault after almost three years of scheduling one service appointment after another. I followed GE™™s instructions (similar to other review above about noise making) which was to buy warranty, call for repairs and describe what was happening. This has been the worse GE experience and I™™ll never buy another unit from them.

This is a replacement for the same unit purchased almost 6 years ago that had one of the control panel buttons quit working. The repair company could not get the part to fix it. I have 4 of these units. Most last 7 years now. They used to last 19 years. They do work well to cool and heat a room and fit the wall sleeves I own.

We have been using this GE Model for last 4 years. Ordered 8 more again for replacements of other brands for our hotel. Very sleek looking, efficient, quite units. The first batch we received 4 yrs ago had bad digital boards. New units afterwards no problem.

We are very happy with our new Zoneline air conditioner. It was so easy to install, it took less than 20 minutes to remove the old unit and install the new one. We had relief from this New Jersey heat and humidity instantly. We in our office highly recommend Zoneline.

Although they carry the same model# a more recent revision has a new board, and the 24V thermostat dongle is actually different and has a different pin/wire configuration. I am a developer and have 10+ of these new units and NONE of them work with ANY external thermostate. All of the units of the SAME MODEL but a prior version with the old dongle work perfectly with it.

I have a motel, during our renovation we had decided to this GE Zonline units for room. With in a year of usage, board UI started going bad in units. Luckly its was a quick fix, til date I have to changes this board every 2-3 week. On 2 of the units, had changed main control board.

This is a good product. It could be better (at this price point) if the cover was made a bit more sturdy, the power cord was included and the J box was easily available. (I know which one it calls for but it is impossible to get)

Bought to replace AZ41E12DAB. It doesn't have as many mounting holes making it difficult to install into a different brand sleeve without drilling aditional holes. The bigger problem is it is open to the outside in the lower left hand corner. You can see daylight through an opening about the size of a dime. I'm concered about inscects entering our apartments and cold air in the winter.

Bought to replace AZ41E12DAB. This unit doesn't have as many mounting holes.It's missing the two lower ones. This makes it difficult to mount to a Carrier sleeve without drilling additional holes through the flange.Also a bigger issue is that you can see daylight through the unit in the lower left hand corner.The opening is slightly smaller than a dime.I'm concerned that wasps or hornets may enter our apartments.Also being located where it gets very cold in the winter this will affect the temperature in our apartments. I'm hoping they come out with a model that worked as well as my previous model.
