I cannot believe how well this little GE portable air conditioner works our friend bought it at the beginning of the year and never used it other than one time and then they decided to go with a bigger unit they packed it all back up nicely but still we had our doubts when it was tiny and two it was used this has been the most incredible little air conditioner and it does everything we needed to do incredibly reliable worth what we paid for it and definitely worth what our friends paid for it so I only recommend new GE appliances but I most definitely recommended well taken care of secondhand to eat appliances they're worth the money they're worth the time there's things that don't last very long anymore but I do feel like to eat appliances are from the old school and are still hanging on to those standards.

Fantastic little machine. We have gone through a few ac units and this one just keeps going and going. It stays cool and it's small and portable. It is also quite quiet.

Installation is terrible, the hose is to big, collapses as you screw it in. Spent an hour on it, used tools to fit it in there.

We love this unit. Our bedroom is an add-on and doesn't get a lot of cool air with the main unit. This has been a great product. Gets the room cold! Definitely recommend.

Small unit that packs a punch. Great for cooling off a large room. Although it could be a bit troublesome on the ears. The noise emitted from this unit is not that bad in comparison to other brands.

It is a smaller unit so obviously it will only cool down small rooms. However, I knew that when I purchased it and it does a great job for its size and does what it is supposed to do! Great installation kit, although a little tricky due to poor illustration in the directions. Not difficult to figure out though and once it™™s done, it works great like I said!

Good product™¦ easy to install and easy to use..,no a real big unit which then sits lower on the floor™¦ I put it on a side sturdy base about 12-18 inches off floor (I do not have small children which out make that unsafe) and does great and easier to drain when used as a humidifier.

Unit did a good job first season but died in the 2nd. It would not cool anymore. I can hear the compressor running but ice would form on the evaporator. The filter and evaporator were clean. I suspect coolant leak or something else.

This a cool little portable unit and my first one. The setup took longer than it should have, because it was missing parts. (All brackets and screws) I bought it from Loews and it was repackage but I shouldn't have assumed that the major box store wouldn't have sold me some new that was missing parts. The unit is awesome and living in FL, this lil backup plan is a must have!!!

It was easy to assemble. And did the job for what I wanted it to do and that was basically cool up my room, it's quiet And works well with the remote sets the temperature. Not too complicated.

This unit worked fine for about 3 months. It may have been a tad small for our bedroom as it never cooled efficiently but was tolerable. After about 1 month, it started shutting off in the middle of the night. We have kept it drained. Cleaned the filter and coils etc... My elderly mother lives with us so we keep the house quite warm for her. Due to that, my wife and I needed a way to keep our bedroom cool year round. We purchased two of these units and the one in my son's room does exactly the same thing. It will shut off, turn back on, run a few minutes, and then shut off again. We would like to be able to return both of them and purchase something of better quality.
