I contacted Frigidaire on September 8, 2023, they finally approved my replacement dehumidifier, but that was in early October & I still have yet to receive my replacement dehumidifier. I will never buy anything from Frigidaire again. I™™ve had my dehumidifier from Home Depot it™™s a ge & it™™s been great ever since I bought it. I can™™t say the same for Frigidaire. it never shut off when it was full & overflowed on my bedroom floor. Now my floor is ruined.

I had one of these for over 15 years. It stopped to work anymore recently. The new one is much improved compared to the old product. It works much better with digital features so easier to adjust settings. Hope this none will last another 15 years.

BUYER BEWARE! The website for the Frigidaire 22-pint dehumidifier (model # FFAD2233W1) says "auto shut-off." I have confirmed with a representative that this does NOT, repeat, NOT mean that the unit shuts itself off when the desired humidity level is reached. It means that it shuts itself off when the water bucket is full. BIG difference in your electric bill!

Bought for our finished basement where humidity levels were high, even for our more arid Colorado climate. Has done a great job of pulling moisture out of the air; often more than a gallon per day. It has noticably moderated humidity and temperature in the basement. Very pleased with the performance, ease of operation, and appearance of the product.

We just moved into a new house and desperately needed a dehumidifier for our ~1,200 foot basement. We ran this model continuously for several days, and just as advertised, it cleared up the moisture promptly and efficiently. We how have it running at 55% humidity near the middle of our basement, and humidistats at the extreme ends of the basement are reading 55% and 60% (the latter reading being understandable as it is in a slightly separate room, but it's still well within normal parameters). We put the unit on a shelf near the sink and have a small hose draining into the sink. It all works wonderfully. Assuming the unit lasts, we will be very pleased with our purchase.

The dehumidifier is working well at controlling the humidity in the house. However I have had difficulty getting it to turn on and run for a specific amount of hours without having to redo everyday. I have started to just turn it on and off manually

Works very well for my humid room in an old NYC building where if left unchecked the humidity easily rises above 60%. Now I'm able to keep it down around 35-40%. The size is great, fits well in my small NYC bedroom. It's well designed. Easy to empty the bucket and clean the filter. Just wish it was more quiet --- unfortunately have to use it in my bedroom. Luckily it's mostly white noise.

This dehumidifier is a great addition to the one we already have™¦both Frigidaire™™s! We placed it in a fairly large room beneath our garage and it is keeping it nice and dry. Our other one, same size, is upstairs in our living area and is both quiet and effective at keeping the room comfortable. Overall, we are very pleased with their products. You can™™t go wrong.

I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because it leaked. I am a senior citizen with less hand strength than I used to have. I had an excellent customer service call with Frigidaire and had a return label. When my son-in-law visited, I asked him to check it. He used pliers to tighten the hose and no more leak. So for all you single ladies out there™¦ask for help and keep your product. Two things to take from this review™¦great customer service from Frigidaire, purchased from Amazon and had good customer service there, and product works as described. Efficient, quiet, cycles on and off as needed. If you do have to use the bucket it has a handle and water guard do no spillage!

This dehumidifier is doing the job. It's small enough to be out of the way but big enough to lower the humidity in my basement. The display is easy to see and operate. I cannot comment on the longevity of the appliance, having it only a month, but I'm hoping to be using this for years.

My recent purchase of the Frigidaire low humidity 22 pint capacity dehumidify has been an invaluable asset in my home. It is very quiet and efficient. The one feature I like most is the easy access to emptying of the water collection vessel. It is he best and easiest to use dehumidifier i have ever owned plus I now have a dry comfortable basement.

We bought two of these units knowing it would be helpful for our house. We typically get allergens in through the sunroom and garage, so one unit for each. It has drastically made a difference in our household! We saw and felt an immediate improvement in our breathing, in how much the AC was running. We bought the small ones because we are planning to run on continuous drip drain once we figure out where it is best utilized. We have brought the one from the garage into the main house and, no matter where it is, it has benefited us. It™™s perfect for Summertime in Florida

Everything about this unit seemed great, and it worked perfectly when I had it placed on a rug in a basement room. After a few weeks I moved it to a room with a piano, and it was on a hardwood floor. It again seemed to work well. But, long before the tank was full [at only about a third full], I went in the room one morning to see a puddle of water on the wood floor. When I moved the unit I saw that it had been dripping water for a longer time directly under the unit, and it had warped and stained the hardwood floor.

This dehumidifier did a great job of getting the humidity out of the air and the room was much more comfortable but when it says auto-shutoff it means when the tank is full. So even when the room is at the correct humidity level it still runs.
